Irish Youth Baroque Orchestra Summer Concerts 2019

The Irish Youth Baroque Orchestra will culminate their week-long residency with two concerts on Friday, 26 July and Saturday, 27 July.

Friday, 26 July at 7.30pm in Townley Hall, County Louth to launch the Ardee Baroque Festival
Admission to the concert is free however, tickets must be reserved by emailing in advance as space is limited.

Saturday, 27 July at 5pm in St Ann’s Church, Dawson Street, Dublin
Tickets are €15 / €10 concession and will be available on the door

Come along to hear some of the best of Ireland’s young baroque musicians as the explore the theme of ‘Baroque Dances: From the Sublime to the Bizarre’ with performances to include:

M. Marais Quatrieme suite, Airs pour les matelots et les tritons (Alcyone, Suite des Airs á Joüer)

A. Corelli Concerto Grosso Op. 6 No. 9 in F major

G. P. Telemann Ouverture ‘La Bizarre’ in G major

G. F. Handel Passacaille in G major, HWV 399
